What is stovewood?
Stovewood is predominantly Larch and is the perfect alternative to hardwood. Larch is the hardest softwood and has a higher calorific content than most species of wood which basically means it is more efficient than most species of wood and is, in fact, harder than most hardwoods.
Before putting stovewood in, make sure your stove is already warm by using kindling and/or firelighters and that there is lots of airflow.
It is suitable for use in stoves but is not recommended for use on open fires due to potential sparking.

The logs are approx 22cm (9") in length. Sometimes there will be logs that are slightly longer or shorter, this is normally caused by coming to the end of the trunk and not being able to cut it down anymore.
